"We are delighted with this achievement. As a legislator, I support Jakarta Provincial Government's programs related with people welfare," she said, Thursday (1/16).

Ima hopes the next Jakarta leaders will be able to continue the effort in decreasing poverty in Jakarta. For this reason, Jakarta Provincial Government must focus in continuing programs related with basic needs such as education, health, job, and food subsidy.

"The main focus must be on primary needs," she added.

Ima also assessed that empowerment program through job training and job fair in every sub-district is also important.

"We must prepare our human resources before the companies need them. The training must be run well and should not only once," she continued.

As for information, Jakarta Statistic Center Agency's Susenas noted that poor people percentage in September 2024 was 4.14 percent or 449.07 thousand people.

The number is 0.16 percent lower compared to March 2024 by 4.30 percent or 464.93 thousand people.
